Hello everyone!

Currently I'm planning to get Xbox 360. I'm sure theres a lot of shops selling it, but there is a lot of con shops selling it a bit too high and stuff. So i need some opinions and recommendation of a good shop that you guys probably know of. That would help much! Looking to get the Premium system, but if the Elite system is available, that would be in my list too

P.S : I'll only be interested in shops that are in KL, cause i live there lol

Get it from Djinn at Gamer's Hideout in Cineleisure. He provides great service and if Warranty issues comes up, it'll be taken care of very quickly.

But please, get an original UN-MODDED console. You'll be missing the best part of the Xbox360, which is the LIVE! service if you get a modded one. Besides.... Djinn only deals with originals.

for me better get ELITE console...the diffrence between pro and elite just around rm300 to rm400...yea i think Elite still in stock at GH...its around rm1990.00 ( Elite ) + 1 free original games..6 month warranty by G.H

and they do have premium halo3 edition...too may be around rm1650.00

at GH they sell genuine console + games + accessories

( u also can get the latest games title , plus u can pre-order for the upcoming or u can rent a games )

p/s : make sure u get the latest 360...i mean Falcon Chip ( 65nm chip )...LOT : 0734 and above + ( 175w power brick ) are Falcon Chip...MAKE SURE ORAIT !

What's the diff between elite and premium anyway? hdd size only?

One problem with GH is that 6 month warranty only (I think other shops even those *ahem* ones give longer) ... after that if your box rosak you gotta go to singapore and warranty claim it yourself ...

Yup i'm gonna get the un-modded ones, its the Live! i'm hoping for lol

but if u get falcon shit* ops falcon chip than chances is low
in fact until now now falcon owner complain bout 3rod

bout the warranty issue
other shop will do x-clamp for u for sure
or u can go to sg by ur self

and why singapore

well the falcon chip is the latest chipset for the xbox360, the chance to get 3rod is low.Microsoft claim that the FALCON 65nm chip running cooler & got 2 additional heatsink then the previos 360s.Like tuan haji dark lenanza said UNTIL NOW NO FALCON OWNER COMPLAIN BOUT 3ROD.

yea Gamers Hideout will give u 6 month warranty...after that incase anything u need to send it for repair at singapore itself....but if u had pal at singapore , u just send the console via post to him , and he will claim the warranty from Microsoft singapore....after that he will send u back the brand new replacement console...

Added on March 17, 2008, 8:28 pmyea i know the other shop give u 1 year warranty aite , cause its not Microsoft warranty though...they will repair the console by the technician who work with the shop..we are talking bout the official once..where ever u bought 360 in malaysia....u have to send it to singapore to claim warranty..unless modded 360 cannot send to singapore..huhuh

what the diffrence between elite and premium :

1. The color ( hahah )
2. Premium 20GB HDD and Elite 120GB HDD
3. Elite package include the HDMI cable & Optical RCA cable ( premium dont have lorrh )

If u bought premium then later on wanna upgrade like HDD or buy extra HDMI cable + Optical RCA cable...here and there..tarraaaaa more expensive then the actual Elite...so make sure at the first place BELI TERUS ELITE...the price beza RM300++ dari Premium....so buy the most ultimate..

Well, my first Elite had problems with the disc tray. I sent it back to Djinn, wait about 2 months.... Lo-and-behold...... completely BRAND NEW FALCON set was ready for pickup.
Big ups for GH on that one too.

Eh, don't think that official warranty >>> *ahem* warranty. My first 360 3rrod, you want to know how long I had to wait for official MS warranty before I got replacement?

5 months. And even then it's cos I lazy to wait and top-up rm400 to get a brand new 360, not even really warranty.

Get from bernard at city bazaar, nice price too....
i just got it from him last saturday!!!! wohooo...
