i got a few questions about the p905i, so here goes...

-does it support mp3 format or just aac/wma?
-can i use the aac/wma/mp3 files as ringtones?
-what about video playback? can it play mp4/mkv/avi? (i'm pretty sure there's no .mkv support but i'll just ask in case )

o btw, bro vodafone how much you gonna be selling the benny q-sim? and how much together with the p905i?

hmm i see, well what about the so905i (loving the external touch-panel music controls )? i just checked out docomo's site this morning & saw it. its walkman branded so it should have custom ring tones option right? actually is the phone even usuable here? noticed bro vodafone selling it but never see anyone talk about it...yet ...

i seeeeee...so i guess the only question now is "does the so905i work with benny's sim?"...now that i saw the so905i i'm very on-the-fence between it and the p905i . anyone here own a so905i? i wanna hear abit about the can do's and can't do's for this phone

damn, i just noticed my maxis is the rounded type w/ gemplus on it... if benny's q-sim doesn't work with it, can i get it changed to the square edge one? does maxis have that kind of exchange?

still not sure between the p905i or so905i...kinda leaning more towards the so905i because of the walkman functions and mp3 support... but i'll be getting either one from bro vodafone, so no worries there .

waitaminute... the so905i can't support more than 2gb?? so much for being a walkman phone, thats about as good as 10 albums only...

yea according to the user guide in the docomo site, so905i supports mp3/aac/wma/atrac3...where the p905i only supports aac/wma/sd-audio...

hey vervain, just wanna ask you... can the p905i take pics horizontally (in the tv mode)? there isnt a dedicated shutter button right so does that mean i have to click the selection button? i wanna know coz looking to take some widescreen pics

what kind of maxis sim card you using? is it square edged or rounded edge? is it 3g sim?

bear, any word about those maxis sim cards on a p905i? also, your using the pss sim that you're selling right? not benny's sim?

nope, the only formats supported by p905i is aac, wma and sd-audio. out of all the phones in the 905i series, only the so905i can support mp3.

NEW P905i USER IN THE HOUSE YO!!! got my p905i from bro vodafone last night and he was kind enough to lend me a temporary charger since mine arriving after golden week holidays only

got a really small problem with me p905i, you guys (p905i owners) know the default wallpaper, the black sky with the night lights? after i changed my wallpaper to another wallpaper and i wanted to change back to the default one, the blue light became red & now it's not a jpeg file but the logo shows a film (like the startup screen & the water bubble clock). anyway to fix this prob?

ei panasonic, when you got p905i? i thought aiming for 911t? about the camera i tried everything already from macro mode to white balance and at almost every resolution!! the camera just straight out rocks !!! seriously, i can only imagine how's it like on the so905ics ...

regarding the p905i probs, i've been using my p905i with benny's since friday night & so far there has been no need for me to do CPR on it nor has there been any auto shut-down or restarts. not sure which batch is mine though... only prob is battery life but its actually a plus for me, since i'm the kind of person who always spoils a battery by charging it before i sleep even if the battery is still full ...so since battery almost empty at the end of the day, can charge and remove before sleep

lol i just realised that the aurora wallpaper changes colour following the time of the day. green for morning into noon, red for noon-evening, blue for evening-night, purple for night-morning but even though i think it's cool, i "HAVE" to put my gf pic as wallpaper haih...the things we guys must do...

benny's q-sim from bro vodafone...only weird thing about the sim usage with the p905i is that i can't use a pin code request with it, whenever i turn on the phone after activating pin code request i'll get the "uim cannot be read" (or something like that) msg at the startup

might have to wait months after they release for supported hypersims also...
btw, did sony ericcson remove the JOG+ control from their 906i lineup? they better not have...that rolling dial was like a godsend in the sony z18

ehh? you sure had to pay for the maxis sim card change? i went to change last tuesday at taipan subang branch didn't have to pay anything also...

btw, for the ppl using p905i with benny's sim. which service provider you guys using & how many times a day need cpr? mine so far need cpr once since using for one week & no case of auto shutdown yet

i need help from any p905i or docomo user ...how do i create an account for and launch datalink? everytime i get some form that i need to fill out (im assuming its the account creation) but i keep getting an error message everytime i try to launch datalink. and i can't read jap so i dunno what they're talking about...

i saw a cutie in sunway college today using a black 911T... i didn't dare approach her though coz she showing off the phone to her bf (scared the fella tapao me XD), is she any of you fellow forumers here? . btw, any p905i users kena signal out that required cpr while going to setiawangsa from sunway through ldp?
