QUOTE(Vervain @ Apr 2 2008, 10:13 PM) Benny's sim is derived from hypersim, Benny is a fellow whom modded the hypersim to accommodate the bypass sequence. That's why they name the hypersim after himself Benny. So far I only hear ppl say Benny's Hypersim on P905i is stable with Digi and Maxis. Anyone here using Benny's Hypersim on P905i? So far so good?p905i has been proven to be stable under benny's hypersim and for most phone. But price wise is double. So you make the call la. |

QUOTE(badegg79 @ Apr 2 2008, 11:37 PM) Bro the P905i gold( remember ?) I sold to my friend is using Bennys' hypersim with Digi. Oops sorry as I didn't remember quite well I gave him 2 bypass sim,x-sim & Bennys's sim. So far only Bennys' sim seems to work flawlessly. So how much is Benny's Hypersim cost now? Cant seem to find the info from Kurokun's thread... And between P905i and SO905iCS, after unlock with bypass sim I guess SO905iCS still have more restrictions compare to P905i? |

QUOTE(vodafone @ Apr 3 2008, 09:27 AM) I think Benny's hypersim will cost around RM280 - RM300 according to one of my customer who bought P905i. How about sms character restrictions? Both P905i and SO905iCS have this restrictions?Hmm... I think the restriction will be the same (no WAP or data packet related service functions usable). Other than that, most of them are usable. And I'm not sure if we can put songs or videos into SO905iCS. So far only know P905i possible to do so. And SO905iCS cannot use personalised tone? How about photos taken by SO905iCS, what is the format? .vnt? |

QUOTE(Vervain @ Apr 4 2008, 12:07 AM) p905i, wma and wmv can be loaded into the phone via windows media player. That is if you have the usb cable. I see.QUOTE(vodafone @ Apr 4 2008, 12:09 AM) Yes can drag and drop (I only tested for WMA, AAC doesn't). But first you need to create folders for it first. After that, you can drag and drop the WMA musics on the x:\PRIVATE\DOCOMO\MMFILE\MUSIC folder. Then you can switch to memory card in phone and start listening to the songs. So this is only do-able if I have usb cable right? Possible to transfer songs into memory card without any renaming? You can also sync the songs with WMP10 or above. |

QUOTE(vodafone @ Apr 4 2008, 12:33 AM) I think if you create the folder structure, it should work also without having USB data cable. Lazy to take out to test now. Maybe after you tested can give us some review on this? QUOTE(Vervain @ Apr 4 2008, 12:47 AM) I used mine to play blocks only. Seems thats the only function I see. Other than that, I leave the call sms to my old phone. Yeah. P905i is the most problematic. Your statement makes me think twice again QUOTE(Vervain @ Apr 4 2008, 01:27 AM) For me, I'm not one bit disappointed, cause I know playing with exotics will $$ alot. Need to Buy this bypass sim to whack it to work, need to get big memory card another $$. Oh no, need usb cable another $$, then need earphone set with remote LCD, another $$. Screen protector, lamination, leather pouch, car stand, incar charger, incar fm modulator, audio jack converter. The cash flow is endless. In the end, you will find the total amount can get you a n95 and a n82. now new ap set n95 can get for around 1500 only if im right. n82 also around 1700 now for ap set... so the price is about the same as most docomo phone now |

QUOTE 100 Million handsets sold by Panasonic [ 11-04-2008 13:14 ] News I got from mobile-review.comAuthor: Irina Turina Source: http://www.ubergizmo.com Translation by: Administrator Send news to friend Discuss in forum Today, Panasonic announced that they've sold 100 million handsets in Japan, supplying handsets to operators such as NTT DoCoMo, KDDI, and, of course, Softbank. Panasonic released their first mobile phone more than twenty years ago, in 1987. By the way, the company's 100 millionth handset sold is the FOMA P905i. ![]() Whilst some other manufacturers have surpassed this number, it's still a noteworthy achievement nonetheless. |

QUOTE(StratOS @ Apr 13 2008, 11:41 AM) only can support till 160chars sms.. able to receive 170chars sms in 2 parts i think.. break to 160chars 1 sms and 10chars 1 sms.. means the sender hace to pay price of 2 sms lo.. so your so905ics can receive >160 char sms but break into 2 sms in your inbox?i think its like this.. normally it is la.. |
