My 2nd try on fashion photography (1st one was few years back, don't know which year's KLAFW taken with my ex Sony F828). I covered this glamorous event with 2 lenses: DA 12-24 and Tamron 70-300 (mostly at the 70-150mm safe range). ISO 400 was used, aperture priority with aperture set to f/5.6.

The biggest problem I faced is the drastic change of lighting (due to spotlights, flash fired from other photographers). I grabbed a seat at a slight angle from the catwalk so all my shots have this "angled" view instead. Somehow I do wish I have a constant f/2.8 telephoto (man... when will Tamron release its 70-200 f/2.8 K-mount? )

Lastly, special thanks to the organizers for giving me the chance to participate and enjoy myself in such event. I sure learnt a lot from other photographers there

Pssst Pentax 50-135mm F2.8 SDM! Love that focal range and lens weight more than the overrated 70-200mm.

The Tamron should be out at the same time this month, since the 70-200mm F2.8 was announced in Canon, Nikon, Sony and Pentax mounts. Just head over to your friendly photo shop and order one!

haha I have the tamron 28-75 on order so 50-135 is rather redundant. Still eyeing on either the Sigma 70-200 or Tamron's.

Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 will be released next month (for Canon mount only). I guess K-mount will only be released end of this year...
