Nop , not until MS enable this resolution .

The options is

1280x720 , 720p
1920x1080 , 1080p

and the weird resolution , 1366x768 . No option for 1680x1050 yet .

Like I said , the resolution still need to be enabled by the console . The 360 just doesn't support 1680x1050 , that simple .

BTW , stretch 1280x1024 really that nice ? blink.gif

Huh ? No , 5:4 doesn't look the same with native 16:9 when stretched .

Ok , lets do a comparison with some screenshots . It isn't 100% accurate but this is how it works I guessed ...

Doesn't looks that good ? Noticed that all the details from native 5:4 is fitted into it , but the stretched version isnt that nice . And bear in mind too all 360 games is developed widescreen natively , so converting it back to 5:4 and stretched it again isn't a good idea .

Brumak screenshot courtesy of Foxngn grabbed here and Crysis screen is mine .

Nope , 360 doesn't require HDCP . PS3 needs because HDCP is a requirement for HDMI .

This is how it looks like on my monitor , though its not that apparent in the picture , it really looks stretched and ugly in real .

Maybe your monitor got better scaling but I wanna vomit when playing in 5:4 stretched .sweat.gif

Now I understand it ... 1280x1024 set in widescreen format means the resolution is being cropped to fit 16:9 , that's why you don't see it stretched . This is exactly 720p lol .
