QUOTE(neosaint99 @ Apr 2 2008, 10:44 PM) "A tough and rigid body does wonders for handling and it is also vital for passive safety. With the Savvy bodyshell, Proton has reached new levels of body stiffness, and even exceeded the targets set. Numbers won't mean much to you but compared to the Waja, the Savvy's body is 2.15 times more resistant to bending and has 2.19 times more torsional strength. Compared to the older Wira, there is a 300% increase, The sort of stiffness the Savvy has been given is more than what most manufacturers would do for a car in this class and Proton claims it is the strongest in its class"source taken from motortrader. savvy |

QUOTE(neosaint99 @ Apr 4 2008, 08:03 PM) iswara sedan 1.5 it does or it doesnt affect?..Added on April 4, 2008, 8:06 pm if u started flushing after a long time din flush then u'll get the same effect as using full synth after a long time of using plain mineral/semi synth oil the result will be loss of engine oil due to larger clearances between the piston n cylinder the engine oil naturally gets black this is caused by accumulation of carbon particles which result from combustion it does effect the performance of the engine oil much during its operating lifespan you dont have to change your oil just because it is black |

QUOTE(neosaint99 @ Apr 5 2008, 01:03 PM) what is it with you people and evaporating engine oil????? hehe..sorry sifoo... your engine oil burns your engine oil sump leaks thats how you lose engine oil evaporation can only happen (in any significant amount) if your water jacket dies and your engine starts to over heat in which case,...it would still burn as vapours going in to the carbie through the the recycle hose from your cylinder head! sheesh |
