w00t the kage game is back . and its out exclusive for the DS ! . for newbies out there, this game is kinda like strider meets old ninja gaiden game and it was released way back in the NES series .

played the first 1 on NES...kinda suck i would say, if u wanna win the game, u have to depend on ur luck. Not sure about this sequel, hope it's good...

What do u mean luck? although...i think the first game on the NES is an infinite loop game the princess always gets kidnapped again n again

So how's this installment?

Well, when you jump to the right, you can't move the character back to left while jumping. So, all the time hoping there's no ninja's stuffs throwing at ya...I don't know how to explain xD

Anyway, i guess last time I almost beated the game, but game over pulak...First time ever to reach that far...

this new installation reminds me an old NES game I used to have...

game play quite similar to The Legend of Kage... but with more depths and story.

it's a nice game, based on Japanese Mythology.

you'll get different types of weapons (bullet type i.e. flying stars) and magic spells.

each spells and weapons have different effects on the enemies/bosses.

u started off with a dagger, as you proceed, you'll be rewarded with parts to extend the dagger, and later become the ultimate Demon Sword.

1 of the funny spell me and my frens used to play... it;s the self-explode spell... very great damage to the enemy, but at the same time, it cost u 1 life...


LOL~ I still remember, when we got the spell for the 1st time, trying out on the boss, after a few tries - game over... LOL~ and we didn't know what happened...

but it's certainly nice game to be remembered again.

and it's by Taito.

oh ya penman..i remember this game...we can even transform into a dragon. I always thought this was the sequel to legend of kage because of its similarity in char design
