I'm using the 580EX II, great weather sealing, and it recharges fast with it the Lithiums i feed it although Lithium seems to have really crappy performance in the cold. So far i'm pretty happy with it.

But i really hate the click wheel, feels like crap to be honest with anyone. Maybe i should have asked for a Metz tongue.gif

Actually, it depends on the combination of lens+body+flash you choose to use. Some of the lenses can be from 1kg (24-70) to 1.6kg(70-200 2.8 IS) and putting the flash there just makes it really like carry a bazooka around. (and these are just the usual/normal lenses one carries around. Ever see pictures of sports photographers who takes a 400mm on a monopod and then has another 400? 600? on their neck? Crazy! yawn.gif

I now having shoulder pain from carrying around a 400D+BG-E3+24-70L+580 EX II+GF Tupperware
I think total ~2KG lah.

slighty less weight compared to my laptop.

My fren who is there using a pentax with a kecik mayung lens (40mm pancake) told me, there's a trend, once you whip out the Bazookas, then the others with the kitlens will all stay back a few step already. keke.. But I still Noob lah!!
