raise the multiplier slowly to da max brows.gif

if u can't boot at a certain multi, raise the vcore a notch

no need to touch other setting (RAM/Chipset Speed & Voltage)

should get 3.1-3.4

set ram multi @ 1:1, jack up d cpu multi. target atleast 3.2. once cpu hit d wall, play w ya ram by usin diff ram multi. smile.gif

wee..just got myself a biostar ta780g

luckily i pick this board since my 3870 is dead,need to rma it >_>

just notice that this mobo vdroop is better compared to my previous biostar tf560 a2+

say, how much of MHz (Proc) can be increase if u lower the multi? hmm.gif

if both GHz is the same better to stay with higher multi × lower htt, rite?

plus no other settings than the multi & vcore need to tweak rclxms.gif

d purpose of lowerin d ram multi is to minimize d chance of ram causin instability. it's hard to oc both cpu & ram at d same time. smile.gif

when d max clock of cpu is found, proceed with findin d max speed of ram, and finally find d sweet spot for both. wink.gif

yup, max clock always come 1st... cool.gif

Wats the safe temp that BE should be at? Coz if running at 3.2Ghz, it's around 60c (that happen after my fingers hit the hsf fan a bit sweat.gif)

Okie...Done Oc...Later gonna try again..So far Stable on 3014Mhz... (far more stable compare to my old sempron @_@") Mine now is at 50c though..
