My friend can achieve 3.2ghz with stock HSF but 75c when stressing.. Mine the highest 3.1ghz.. a bit more than that the temp rise near to 83c.. later wan change the HSF.. Any recommendation? Thinking of IFX or 120 ultra extreme.. Btw, thanks for your help.. will try it.. nice ram u got there..

If you have the money, then IFX is the best......  drool.gif
*
But i wonder can it fit really nicely ar.. i think will crash my NB heatsink DFI DK P35 T2-RS.. and can add fan..?

QUOTE(huh? @ Apr 18 2008, 09:27 PM)
waa... it has been a long time since i post here...

you guys are the best!! im seeing 3.0ghz till 3.6ghz OCing here...

have a good time ocing guys.. i retired already.. plus my pocket got  super huge hole!! huhuhu...

keep up the good work notworthy.gif

Added on April 18, 2008, 9:31 pmsub_noob = get IFX if you got the money and space for the case.. cause it is huge!! and the backplate heatsink (the other small heatsink) can cause a lot of problem in terms of clearance..

off topic = are your name sabri ? studying in MMU malacca ?
*
Ya.. Im ur cousin.. lol.. hehe.. backplate heatsink..? pwm or NB heatsink..?

QUOTE(Bigblock @ Apr 18 2008, 11:35 PM)
yeah well i see alot of ppl OCing kau kau also till 1.7vcore.. sweat.gif  sweat.gif
IFX is a nice thing too...
If you hav a full tower it wont be an issue on the IFX thow...

i would suggest xigmatek ler... IFX is a risk coz its too big brows.gif and doesnt guarantee you space to fit unless you know your spacial requirements of the case. IFX is a very nice cooler, but i would rather get a Xigmatek with 2 fans smile.gif

Added on April 19, 2008, 9:54 amIFX14s have two parts to their arsenal, the backplate heatsink and the main one. The backplate heatsink goes out of your case its like a mini heat transfer exhaust.
*
I also agree with u.. But already see some people using it but with different NB cooler.. Money is not the prob.. smile.gif

QUOTE(huh? @ Apr 19 2008, 11:14 AM)
sub_noob = bwahaha...indeed you ARE my cousin... LOL

it's not for NB but the smaller heatsink sits behind the mobo, under the processor base.. it is one very important component of the IFX cause there is some temperature drop when it is used.. you can add 80mm fan for it if you want to.. the IFX main unit could fit 140 mm diameter fan..

yeah.. i would also agree a1098113, just get the xigmatek.. save you space and money cause it comes included with a fan unlike IFX..and if you wanna go crazy.. get sanyo denki 120mm fan from all n gap and replace the stock xigmatek fan.. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Owh u mean the add on heatsink.. i got delta fan.. super noisy.. hehe..

QUOTE(Bigblock @ Apr 19 2008, 11:43 AM)
a1098113 is right xigmatek is better if your looking at price/size ratio...but i still love the IFX
*
I love it too.. hehe.. xigmatek really good also..

Eh.....sure bout that? I my experience thats the WRONG way to do it  shocking.gif Usually i unplug everything and discharge the mobo caps b4 clearing the cmos, and we're using the same mobo.
Yeah same here, havent had a prob clearing the cmos yet. Another way i found that works sometimes is by switching off the power supply, discharging the caps, and then running the comp again, usually the fsb resets this way smile.gif
*
unplug everything ar.. i switch off the psu oni.. clear cmos.. then when the light off straight on the psu back.. put back jumper to normal.. smile.gif a lot faster..
