im using mars with vcore at 1.3v and voltage multiplier of 1.078 so my target cpu is 1.4v..but cpuz reading is 1.288v..which one is the actual vcore? 1.3 or 1.4?

got any bios that can fix the vdrop?
if e2160 can run 3.2ghz daily i happy already...

i think my proc is d worst cuz i cant do *8 for multi...
i'm stuck @*9...

well certain benchmarking softwares use clockspeed as a benchmark and speed benchmarks like superpi uses fsb as the main contributor to its endeavour.. this is from my personal experience using lower fsbs with higher multipliers..

Most intel procs now have a standard multiplier syndrome(own theory) where a friend of mine thought me about the NB divider which is default/current multiplier * fsb = the Vcore needed for that FSB speed...

For example lets say youre running a proc with a default of 9* and u run 400Mhz on its bus, u will have a 9/9 divider which is 1*400 = 400Mhz. This doesnt need a bump on NB.. meanwhile lets say if u run on a 8*, your ratio becomes 9/8 = 1.125 which translates to a bus speed of 400* 1.125 = 450Mhz on the bus... now imagine running that on a e2160.. u get the logic now? work on default multipliers unless you have an extreme proc
