Really? a1098113, are you using TX-2? Because the E2160 I bought is cooled by a stock heat sink as well (The one which is slimmed down/chopped in half This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Mar 16 2008, 11:20 PM |

QUOTE(a1098113 @ Mar 16 2008, 02:37 AM) for the speed difference the price doesnt justify... you can get a e2160 and just up the speed to about E2200 and run it. But thats really your choice. I dont introduce OC unless you are going to do it. But yes the only difference is clock speed. But in real world theres no difference unless u r like me...ur board FSB cant go high...but i doubt it la cos most prob u'll be choosing p35 based mobo so jus get de cheapest e2140/2160 cos like my rx1250 going higher fsb is a big hassle lucky i got my e2200 tat hav a higher multiplier QUOTE(Silverfire @ Mar 16 2008, 10:02 PM) i suggest better use format like 333*9 (multi x FSB)cos my e2200 can go 3Ghz on stock...but on low FSB de max i can go on de rx 1250 is jus 345mhz with 1.4v vcore |

That quickens up your SuperPI... But it will do less stress to your processor especially when you're running a stress test...

QUOTE(Silverfire @ Mar 17 2008, 02:43 PM) actually theres no reason for you to run a stress test when u have programs on, unless u have SP32M running. ONe reason is because, for example OCCT, it stresses your cores up to 99.8% and if u do have background programs running on it, u will crash easily. Coz of over stressing. And no utilization for the background softwares u r running. |

i prime my system while watching movies, surfing and even doing some work, that's because we're using low priority CPU, you should try on high priority (say 8 or 9), then you should see...

yeah i know, cstkl said that priming your system with movies is a good way.. but when u do high priority testing.. you wouldnt wanna do that, coz it will hang or restart the system...
