Vdrop is basically a mechanism promoted by intel to reduce the sudden surge of voltage when a processor goes on load. The Vdroop is higher when in full stress if u notice, not because of heat but because of the load that it experiences and the higher the voltage you pump, the bigger the Vdroop is, simple law of balancing.  Vdrop/droop is a good thing in fact for the health of the processor. ONly that it affects us all, overclockers coz we want every inch of juice we can get.

Abit IP35-E has a bigger vdroop on higher Vcore. Which is totally normal for mid-end 4-phase motherboards. If u do circuit mods on the lga775 built to the board, not only u lose a mechanism to save your proc, in case of a sudden surge of load, but also burn the proc in an instant.

Shoot.... well then, juz hav 2 bear wit it.... nod.gif

Mine, i mange 2 boot it up @3.5ghz 1.608v... Tried 3.6ghz 1.608v can but BSOD.... Increase vcore also cannot edi... I guess my E2180 can go only until 3.50ghz.... biggrin.gif Dun ask bout my temp when full load, its freaking high even on wc... shocking.gif So i guess u still can increase ur vcore a bit more... nod.gif But, if any unwanted event happen, not my responsibilities ok... whistling.gif laugh.gif

how to make the e2180 go 3.5ghz?
the most stable i can go is 3.0ghz 9x333 using vcore 1.5

i tried 10x333 and put vcore 1.6, i get blue screen during loading windows

btw... i always put the divider to match my ram which 800mhz.. my ram is sensitive so i always make sure it dont go beyond 800mhz

i am using gigabyte p35-d3sl motherboard and cm sphere cooler
*
wat rams r u using??? hmm.gif Bcuz i clock my pc @ 3.50ghz ok only... Even during heavy load no bsod... but only @ 3.60 ghz... i get bsod sumtimes when during windows loading or playing games... i increase my vcore up to 1.63 also cannot.. so i downclock back 2 3.5ghz... But heat would a prob 4 me... my rams 667 to 790mhz only... further dat cannot... icon_rolleyes.gif

Maybe gotta learn more bout rams 4rom my sifus... whistling.gif whistling.gif

i am using kingston value ram. default clock speed is 800mhz.

it shouldn't be the ram causing the problem. cuz i cannot do 9x333mhz which ram is running at 800mhz

same here... i also cannot do x9.... dunno y... sad.gif

u cant do 9* rozz because your default multiplier for the e2180 is 10*.. remember the NB ratio i told u once ?

@coolice
hmmm ur just world class bro, we all kampung class tongue.gif but does hwbot validate a non-existant G0 stepping for e2140? Intel database doesnt give the G0, i only see M0 and L2.. hmm.gif

Opss.... doh.gif 4got edi... but yea, i remembered u were talking 2 me bout NB sweat.gif Got 1 part u said must increase da voltage a bit.... nod.gif thumbup.gif
