QUOTE(rozz_1291 @ Sep 6 2008, 11:56 PM) Nearly 7-8 months i think... 4got edi how old.... I think I've increase da vcore high enuf edi... 3.50ghz@1.63v it should be ok... B4 dis, 3.50ghz@1.60v... Then when got dis problem, increase until 1.63v also da same... Now 3.20ghz@ 1.57v.... aisey... so high ah!!!!! i set my 2180 at 3.2@1.425 je...... maybe its bcoz u pump too much vcore long enough that if u downclock u also need higher vcore to stabilise it.maybe its already damage.

QUOTE(joe_star @ Sep 7 2008, 09:40 AM) Meaning when you enter windows its default speed? That means your boot at oc settings was not successful, so the mobo automatically loaded defaults . Check with cpu-z, if your FSB is 199mhz then its the safe mode working Added on September 7, 2008, 9:41 amYeah....most likely your proc degrading ady. Mine still not so bad, just 1 notch extra voltage needed at 3.2ghz (lastime 1.4v now 1.42v) yeah its at 199.but i use my 3.2@1.425 all the time.its just sometime when i on the pc cpuz show the default setting but when i restart it the bios oc setting is unchanged. Added on September 7, 2008, 4:48 pmQUOTE(rozz_1291 @ Sep 7 2008, 04:08 PM) My secondary rig is still under progress.... gonna be completed soon. So once finish, maybe i can try out my E2180 on a IP35P mobo... But, if still da same, i guess there goes my baby... so u have a ip35-p eh.. same board like mine and the only thing i hate about it that it doesnt have oc profile saving feature. QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Sep 8 2008, 09:24 PM) hmm, i wonder how much i'll able to OC an E2160 and E2180 if using a stock fan? edit: i saw most of them able to reach more than 3GHz on stock cooling. so my question is, which processor is my best bang of buck in buying?most of the results are leaning toward E2160 my 2180 can run at 3ghz on stock cooler but the temp is around 70'c max but on some benchtest that i run the performance went up more than half.but now im using hyper 212 and running at 3.2.cant go higher coz im afraid to play with voltage.
