Takara GC-01 Galaxy Convoy- Basic model, more details and paint apps compared to Hasbro's Cybertron Optimus Prime.
Hasbro's Optimus Prime- Similar to takara's but missing some paint apps, first batch has defect on the wing so take caution before making your purchase.
Hasbro's Galaxy Force Optimus Prime-Repaint. More aggressive look with black paint. Not as rare as the other 2.
Takara EX02 TRU Sonic Convoy Giftset- Limited edition with clear and chrome parts on OP. Comes in a set with Coby Ramble and Fire Guts Sonic Convoy.

Actually EX02 is value for money. See the market pricing for the individual figures-Galaxy Convoy RM350 Sonic Bomber RM250 Coby Ramble RM50 add up together you get RM650, that's the price you pay for EX02.

I got mine for SGD30 only last December. So I guess the price nowadays should be ok lah

Both Takara and Hasbro classics are equally nice. Takara has better paint apps, Hasbro has heat rub sticker. Both also win

God Magnus(Ultra Magnus) in TF Universe is a repaint of Armada Overload. There's no Takara version for this

1. The clear version or the gold version! Well if you're only choosing between blue or black, get blue

2. Is it Takara's GC-01? If it is then good price

3. No you shouldn't wait

Up to you, it has less value if you wanna sell it next time compared to the Takara version, but differences between the Hasbro and Takara versions are very small so it's up to you

Overall colour scheme is very different if you ask me. Which one looks better, for the consumer to decide

I choose 20th OP too, the darker colours really get me.
Damn gonna be paying lots of visits to Macdonalds and buy happy meal to get these "legends class" happy meal animated toys
