Anyone's using this product, Benetint by Benefit. Will it be too red for the cheeks? Will the colour suits the Asian Skins? How would you rate the product?

Blumarooz,

I use Benetint and I love it! It looks very natural and the "redness" depends on how many drops you put on your cheeks. What I do is I draw 2 short lines across my cheeks, each side, and pat them in. After a while, it blends in nicely. I would recommend it.

It's nice but there are good alternatives such as Origin's Pinch Your Cheeks.

It's jsut too overpriced and the packaging is not user friendly in a way that it's so easy to spill (I've spilled one) and break (I've broken one). Just not user friendly. And after seeing that the benetint contains sodium hydroxide, I don't dare use it on my lips anymore.

I wrote a comparison on this product on my blog. can have a look:

It's really nice. I'm quite fair (MAC NC20) so it gives me a nice glow. But I have to agree with smellyocheese abt the packaging. It's horrible. Although the product can last a long time (2 short streaks is all you need in each side), the screw on cap is really flimsy and mine broke after a while, spilling everything into my gym bag. Sigh..RM139 down the drain.

But I think they have a pocket version with a lip gloss on one side and Benetint on the other for RM89. Perhaps that packaging is better.

Yeah, I love the product but not user friendly. My finger will get stained after each application.....

I found the cheekhue from MAC a better alternative for me. Benetint seems to dry a little faster than i can blend it down. I'm not tanned nor am I far. I guess you can say it's the typical chinese kinda yellow/orangey shade ^^;;; So benetint appears almost too pink on me even with a light application. Maybe it will be better if in the future there would be one with a more apricot tone to it ^^

i used it b4, but when i bought Shiseido and Shu blusher, then i abandoned it...

I've broken the cap for twice, then i request a replacement cap from their web site since i bought it online, then they courier it to me, very efficient service!! Although the colour is very lasting, but now i still prefer to use powder type happy.gif
