QUOTE(mochachoke @ Mar 31 2009, 10:17 PM) for me Maxis is okay...i dont interested with U-Mobile since they use celcom tower and they have no HSDPA service in my area... if U-Mobile use celcom tower to broadcast their HSDPA line, then should get same coverage as celcom HSDPA, but why ar only certain area only?? |

QUOTE(cardin @ Apr 1 2009, 07:00 AM) QUOTE(http://www.u.com.my/umobile/page/PricePlan/SurfWithU/FairUsePolicy) 1.8 For our Broadband Service, your total usage per month shall NOT exceed 5GB of data volume transmitted (total upload and download usage). This is to ensure that no subscriber can congest the bandwidth at all times. U mobile do hav FUP but as i heard from most of da users they juz hav it on da paper only not implemented yet |

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Apr 1 2009, 10:44 AM) The Fair Usage Policy is there but it is not implemented yet. In my opinion, once they have a larger subscriber base only will they implement it. u mobile NOW only cover certain klang valley, seremban and ipoh. that's why they don't have larger subscriber. once their coverage whole nation, then fair usage policy i think will implement and heavy user internet will got headache This post has been edited by suriah: Apr 1 2009, 10:50 AM |

QUOTE(http://www.u.com.my/umobile/page/PricePlan/SurfWithU/FairUsePolicy) If you require more than 5GB, you must make a written request to customer.service@u.com.my. However, we have the right to reject your application or charge for such additional data volume. |

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Apr 2 2009, 10:54 AM) From the website, the RM58 monthly for HSDPA should be over but I'm not sure if they have extended it. However, RM68 monthly for a HSDPA connection is still considered cheap. yeah, true, who want to give 3.6Mbps with only rm 68? consider cheap laaa but i'm not sure my friend still got rm58 or not |
