Upload is slow because U Mobile has no HSUPA (High Speed Upload Packet Access). Only HSDPA (Download Packet Access).

I noticed that my line will get disconnected for 10 minutes at 3a.m to 3.10a.m every midnight...Anyone facing the same problem?

By the way, heard ppl said that the whole backbone of U-Mobile uses 10M fiber to the net. Is it true? Anyone can confirm with this?
*
yup, the service will not be available during that period. try to complaint it to Cust. Service on it.
10M fiber? not really... tongue.gif

u need to get the Premium RS account should u need to *abuse* the download speed as UM implement shared IP concept.
btw, UM also have the Fair Usage of 5GB per month as well (as same as other telco since it's a MCMC regulation)
just that UM have yet to enforce the rule rclxms.gif

Which is better that way I suppose. As Celcom didn't throttle BT, users reached their limit really fast and they can cap their speed to 64/128kbps, in a way you can say that they can save a lot of bandwidth there once they cap users. laugh.gif

Hi guys, anyone using the new Surf with U (without modem) package?
Pls icon_question.gif me.... I've went through U website but found nothing about cancellation fees. Does the 2 years contract still apply for this package? Say if I want to cancel it after 2 months or so, will I be charged with anything?
Is this a package same like Celcom's???
