@yongkailoon or other mods, please split this thread to v2.

it's long overdue and no mods/staffs bother to do so.

actually now i also get to connect via 201 and 202
UM hav expanded their Ip base
I was told come June, their roaming wif celcom will ends and Digi will come in
and for users tat hav voice+ data, they can utulise Edge but for data only sim, not sure yet
so is it good or bad as currently celcom din let UM roam its 2.5G or 3G , juz 2G voice ONLY

Notice that U Mobile BB is now aggressively promoting itself via gigantic billboards. Saw two already, one by PLUS highway in Serdang, the other near Jalan Kuching interchange with Jalan Tun Abdul Razak...

not cheap to expand ... thats why umobile rely on celcom & later digi when using their service outside their std 3g coverage (aka broadband coverage).

even digi is expanding slowly but still suffers the same as umobile.

maxis & celcom took many many years to develop their infra up till now.

umobile as being a little young (2yrs? 3yrs now?), i think they r quite ok in terms of coverage in mostly klang valley (where the highest usage & higher cost of living are).

I guess by next wk, most of you can roam on Digi's data if Um is not available, meaning on Edge or HSDPA but initially these roaming is meant for voice+data and guys like us tat dun hav voice on our package, still duno yet....... sweat.gif

anyone care to ask UM?

I just call the call center, they said the caping will be rested within 24 hours from the time of the previous expiry date of broadband...they also said, from 10pm (today)-12am(tomorrow), no usage will be counted..The usage counting will only start tomorrow...
Is that true ?

Based on u guys experience. Im a prepaid u68 user..
