If they havent cap yet, thats good...but sooner or later they will capped like what others did doh.gif
*
personally i dont mind being throttled... as long as the ping below 220ms.. coz still can surf the net very nice...
but...

what maxis did.. capping and asking to buy extra bandwidth or upgrade ur package... waaaa very blood sucking.. n the most is just 12GB... what if we use 40GB? 120GB per month? whistling.gif yess NO SOLUTION...

@xbrite

try GoogleDNS for your dns setting...
its hard for me to say.... but most of the time i use the default setting but when i feel the default is slow... especially international sites...

i change my DNS to Google DNS
primary DNS ip : 8.8.8.8
secondary DNS ip : 8.8.4.4

i alwiz do speedtest at umobile broadband site 1st... if i see its above 600kbps then i do at speedtest.net n i share it here...

half of my speedtest here is using GoogleDNS

just a tip..
tq

after 2weeks using... average is 1.2mbps the speed...
usage now around 45GB (do a lot of formatting n updating in Windows7 this few days)

same here,I wonder is that after capped the ip will change to this 123.136.101.200
*
nope.. i'm usually on
123.136.101.200
123.136.101.199
123.136.101.197

all same trend... in my experience all that 3 ip give me about the same scenario... some time super fast some time 390kbps only the slowest~

if you going for postpaid, you can terminate at service centre. If you go for prepaid, you don't have to terminate? I believe it is not auto renew, need to check with cruxidex on this.

@cybpsych , I could not help him la, only need him to contact U Mobile again.
*
confirmed... no auto reload.. n even no notification SMS given to notify my that in a short while my subscription will expire... suddently at 1252pm it disconnects.. so i just go topup RM70 the renew my u68 subscription smile.gif

Was trying to DL Limewire and even some programs from Download.com. Sad to say the performance is pretty say even though speedtest showed 1.5mpbs DL on average.
*
try using softpedia.com
faster... most links and installers they have in their own server whistling.gif
