Yeah, what you see in these photos, are what I saw.

I took them like 3 something in the morning. We friends and I were hanging out, and one friend was about to leave and noticed it.

It was freezing cold out there -20 celsius. Somemore every shot also need more than a min. Was out there for a long time to wait for the right moment.

The aurora changes very fast. Looks different every moment.

I never imagined that I could see such photos from a non professional photographer! Or are you, TS?

Eye opening indeed and would like to witness the phenomenon for myself one day.

wow...nice....some even saw purple color aurora...nice!!!!how come de tree orange in colour?lighting frm de tiang lampu?

Zomg calvin !! This is good stuff ~~ I've been always wanted to shoot the aurora but obviously u'll never find it in msia / aus ....

Yeah, I'd seen more which are so much cooler on flickr. Somemore they were taken with film camera.

Erm... I did use tripod and those shots weren't possible handheld with over 1 minute exposures.

How to improve? More than 1 minute? I donno lar... too cold to even try longer...

Exposure seems alright smile.gif Guess you can find a better spot next time ....

Yeah, location was limited. I was on high grounds, but not high enough.
