OK, so who will be getting the US version and who will be getting the UK ones? If MP is going to be region locked as rumored, then it would be good to have a consensus. Heard the UK one will be out here first.

Just spoke to my friend in Sg and he says there's massive overstock of GTA IV there, even the SE. Seems like they over-estimated the demand. And here we are sitting around....

Hang on in there guys! Friday is just a couple of days away. I'm sure you can tahan labour day without GTA4. Play GT5P or Call of Duty 4 new maps.

Now that you guys have a copy, why not try out multiplayer and let the others know whether you are able to connect to US players. That is, if you are able to identify them as US players.

Dinghydoggy, I thought you weren't going to play until tomorrow?
 I had a hilarious deathmatch game with Skiddz and someone else. Multiplayer gameplay feels very similar to Warhawk, though obviously it is entirely different. I tried to crash a helicopter into skiddz but missed. Damn. He loves his rocket launcher. Alex, we can't work out whether mp is region locked because it doesn't show where a player is from. So the only way to work it out is to have someone with a US disc try to invite someone with an EU disc. |
