It doesn't matter which PSN you're registered under. They are all inter-connected. As for the different versions connecting to their own server, I highly doubt Rockstar would pull something like that. You'll only find that kind of stuff going on in Gran Turismo & Motorstorm (lame empty servers).

You'll be able to invite your friends into the match by using your cell phone -- there you can also set up match details.
