When we all get the game we have to try Free Roam. We'll make up the rules then, lol, choices include:

1. explore the city
2. deathmatch!
3. kill all pedestrians and cops

MyGEN find it funny when big games like the Grand Theft Auto series are only days away and stupid attempts by people to create buzz or rumours are made. Often publicity being the driving factor or perhaps in this case a retailer trying to drive local sales for their store. Who knows, but this attempt is a pretty poor one, but still people get worried about hearing things like this so MyGEN decided to ask Rockstar themselves whether this was true or false.

Basically this email was floating around a number of Aussie forums stating that the Australian and New Zealand versions would contain region locked online gameplay to help with lagless gameplay and that if you decide to get your hands on an un-edited version of the game from the UK then you would expect to play the game only with other UK gamers

MyGEN point out the things that make this email a fake and chuckle at the poor attempt. MyGEN also have have a copy of the email, attached to take a look at as well and notes on why it's a fake.

Trouble: Play-asia reports a ship date of GTA IV on May 02 for the PS3 version, 29th for the Xbox version.

For those who need to pass time before the release, I suggest you do a search for 'The Music of Grand Theft Auto IV' (torrent) and you should be able to listen to the music before you get the special edition.

I also bought the brady guide book (~300 pages!) so hopefully that will be here soon.

If it gets delayed I'm going to be really angry, lol...because I have GTA IV for the xbox sitting on my hard drive and I can't use it.


Anyone want to rent me their xbox for one or two days?
