Hardware how to change the Jumper when using ext HDD, which one to choose ??

hi i wana ask because i owned a Coolermaster Xcraft Xternal Enclosure which one to change the jumper to >???!

Ya, no need to set any jumper to your HDD inside the enclosure.
If no mistake, my HDD inside Enclosure is set as Primary / Cable.

but i guess it wont affect anything, in BIOS only detect it as USB Storage.

if you're talking about 3.5" hard disk drive, the standard / factory jumper parking position should be on
cable select.
2.5" hard drive doesn't require a jumper. so does sata hard disk.

so when u plug in or use ur 3.5" as a ext hdd use back ori the Calbe select or MASTER and my HDD is seagate Barracuda 7200.7 200GB duno where to see the diagram !@

Different manufacturer uses different pin.

Just refer to the hdd itself should have pic on it

but usually the first pin is 4 master.
