 best ram for OC, brand @ chip

i wanna upgrade my corsair value select ram 512x2 to OCZ gold edition 1x2G and OC the ram.. is this a good ram to over clock?
or it depends on the chip? gimme brand name plz

if OCZ,buy pc8500 and above..or better go for crucial 10th anny(best bang for bucks)

try get d9 chip such as d9gmh or d9gkx..its nice for oc..its on ur luck when buying ram..sumtime u wont got nice chip for OC ram..but sumtime u can get very lucky jus for value ram u can hv these chips wub.gif or myb u can try ask jy14 or kiong for value ram wit these d9 chip

the bset is crucial 10th annni.... but i'm using team now..depends on the chip to oc..

yeah..its depend on luck..but sum of oc ram like crucial 10th oredi known its performance..erm for 8500 vs 6400..depend on wat speed u running..if u wanna run 1200mhz its easy for 8500 ram..but sum of 6400 hard to run it

haha sorry..i said for sum of high performance ram like crucial,ocz,team there are already known bout their performance..but its depend on luck coz sumtime u wont have nice chip..so careful when buying..for ur question u askin which better 8500 n 6400 ram, for example i gv u wanna running 1200mhz speed for ur ram..its easy to run by 8500 ram coz its speed oredi 1066mhz..but for 6400 ram abit hard to run coz its 800mhz..hope it clear for u..or myb u need to learn bit about overclock needed icon_rolleyes.gif

ya, i just need ddr2 6400 onli.. 8500 is ddr3 aite?
so that means my target i hv to find ram with d9 chip on it aite?

google might help u to get the information..
d9 chip one of the recommendation..but depend on u.. a lot of current ram can oc well.. but depend tight or loose timing.. choose wut more suitable for u
