Hi all, i do not know what happen to my V6. Sometimes when i switch from N gear to D gear. The car just aint responding, it behave as if it is still in N gear. Is this a symtom that the gear box is near its life? It starts to happen quite frequently

My Perdana meter reads around 96k. No ATF cooler........ i think i am there one to be blamed for not installing ATF doh.gif.. shit i am the killer of the GB!

Before this it happened, after i change the ATF fluid and filter the problem disappear for around 6 months. And now it happen again.

how far have u travelled in those 6 months?
get an ATF cooler and try flushing the gb and change ATF and ATF filter again.

Does anyone of you here know which type of anti roll bars is suitable to be mounted in Perdana? any recommendation of which 1 i should install first?

if u mean ARB (thin bar located underneath the car which connects the right and left lower arm)
ARB only has 2 types. front and rear, hehe..
anyway, if u wanna change ARB, change rears first, then only the front.
get rear ARB with 16mm thick from Ultra Racing is enough already to replace the 12mm stock ARB.
for fronts, u have to use thicker than that.

if u mean strut bar (bar that fixed on top of suspension mount)
front strut bar u can get Ultra Racing, either 2-points or 3-points.
or for nicer look, get galant VRG strut bar (2nd hand cost about rm200 in mudah)

rear strut bar get Ultra Racing. either inside boot or inside car (just under rear windscreen)

I think what i need is the ARB. is it useful to enforce the structure of the car? Because when i go tru bums, it feels as if the whole car is tearing apart shocking.gif . how much would the rear ARB and front ARB cost?

Anyone know where is the best place to convert AT to MT transmission for Perdana? Is it advisable? how much it cost normally? blink.gif

if in Klang Valley, then i can recommend 2 workshops that are expert in everything Perdana..

the cost now from rm3.5k to 5k (siap pasang) depending on the manual gb model/code (which defers in terms of normal duty or heavy duty, or short ratio or long ratio) and depending on other parts (parts for gear lever and pedal from Eterna/Galant cost more than modding it from a Lancer/Evo/RVR..)
