Guys, need help here. Recently my car is experiencing pulling to the left side when i release my hands from the steering. I think maybe it is connected to the incident when my front left wheel went over a pothole quite hard when cornering to the right side. Among other symptom that I felt are as per follows:

1) Car constantly pulls to left side when driving, either crusing, accelerating or braking. symptom becomes even worse when going uneven roads.
2) during braking can feel slightly freeplay in the left front wheel, like wobbling front and back
3) left rim feels slightly hotter than right side
4) when crossing road humps feel like front left wheel will bounce one or two times more than front right side.

Actions taken so far:
1) swap tires left&right - no difference but swap tires front and back got improvement
2) already went to check with three workshop on the brakes, three foremans says ok after checking but last I still insist the final foreman to service the brake piston just to be sure. foreman after service says brakes are ok,No difference compared to before service but funny the left side wheel still more hotter than right side wheel.
3) Both front lower arm changed with new sets brand 555
4) absorber also replaced new set
5) alignment done twice already at separate workshop

so what could be the reason for this? hopefully, some sifus here can offer some form of help and guidance.
Thanks a lot in advance.

if u have changed the lower lateral arm (straight arm), then u should check the lower control arm (the curved arm)
check the bushings and ball joint
maybe the bushings koyak or snapped out of the socket (the bushing may not be koyak but became loose)

i was thinking of contacting him to change all my rear bushings (the factory bushings are 15 years old already) flex.gif

i thought u already changed the lateral arm to a new arm 555 brand?
so what's actually the problem? the arm bracket/mounting point?

hey guys, just want to share something here about my recent upgrade. I just replaced my original 12mm rear ARB to UR 19mm ARB. The followings are the difference felt after upgraded:

1) Instantaneous improvement during cornering capability. the rear was a major improvement from standard. It was more planted on the ground and the body roll is significantly reduced. Obviously an increase in g force cornering.

2) The ride quality and comfort has became slightly compromised, more harsh to be exact due to the fact both the independent suspension system has been tighten up and linked together more stronger. Therefore, when going thru uneven roads, I can feel the each suspension system unable to travel as much as previous independently. In other words, it feels like both the rear suspension system becomes one unit, they travel up and down together. At least that's how i feel and interpreted it. In essence, it feels like I'm using an adjustable suspension at the rear. Firm cornering at the expense of slightly harsher ride quality BUT without the lowered car problems.

What leaks? oil? water coming into cabin?
For bodyworks, I dont have any specific shop, just send anywhere with reasonable price.

Hi sifus,
I just replaced my Tein coilovers to standard setups. One set of unknown brand coils and apm gas shocks. The first thing I noticed is the height. Its so much higher than even normal v6, which makes me wonder if the spring is the right one.

Then another thing is during driving on to speedbumps, esp. at high speed. The spring/absorber bounces back so hard it sounded like its punching back, which is scary. I dont have any experience driving stock suspensions since I bought the car with coilovers in them.

Do I use the wrong spring? or the absorber is still very new they need some run-in before they get softer?
