Just got my PS3 to join the BD family last friday. All i can say is WOW!!! Blu-Ray really rocks! Cannot tahan to get my hand on a bd disc to test it out so got Live Free or Die Hard from speedie and paid through my nose for it.
Ordered a few others recommended by experts from the this thread from Amazon. Thanks for the tip guys . Now i understand why you guys prefer the faster shipping although its more expansive - the damn close to month long wait is excruciating with the standard shipping method.

Looking forward to spamming this thread with the rest of you guys.

Yup same here! I like collecting more interesting / award winning movies. Not so much for the WOW factor.

I checked out the simpson's bd disc and the rate they use for the video transfer is 38MB. The PQ will definitely be superb! The colour of animation will be better than normal movies lor....... can't wait till Disney starts selling the bd disc for Finding Nemo - the colour will literally POP outta your LCD tvs.

bought the ori DVD for kreta liau...... waiting for my tikus bd to arrive in about a month or so. So regret did check this thread to bulk before i ordered it.

Depends on how fast you wanna get your hands on the bd disc you ordered mate. Cheapest is the slowest lor.

already paid and item shipped liau on sunday. Then again i'll still join your bulk.... still deciding what i want to get . Bought the highly recommended planet earth, tikus and batu disc d.

Buy locally if you can't wait and got extra money Buy from amazon / ebay if you can wait for the bd disc to arrive later and want to save 20 - 30 % on what you have to pay them for locally.

Aiyoh a lot of yammy and onkyo user over here. Am i one of the only chumpion still using the stupendously over priced denon stuff (thanks to wkh)?

Will check out my die hard 4.0 bd after i update my ps3. Can't wait d..... aiyoh still 3 hours till i can go home. My planet earth, the rock and ratatouille bd finally arrived..... woohooo!!!

i'm running a 7.1 setup BUT using old Denon 1905...... dunno if the DTS HD-MA 7.1 will work or not

No lossless audio through optical for me...... Looks like it's time to save up and to sell my current amp to fund a new hdmi equiped avr.

Wah lau! The amount of BD the fella have in the pictures can bury you alive! Anyway, can't wait to get my hands on the incredibles and finding nemo once they're out.

Hmmmmm i got my 3 bd's 2 weeks ago from amazon in box. The last time i got my music cds from them also in box.

rx, the envelope they use those padded type - jiffy bags? If not you can whack kau them leh. Usually those ebay seller will use those jiffy bags as they are cheaper.

Yup! I never buy anything from an ebay seller with less than 90% good feedback and more than 100 feedback points.
