Coming bk to topic, I registered for Amazon Prime (of course, it's 1 mth trial lah). Ordered 3 BD. Only in late afternoon, I noticed that I clicked wrongly for 1 of it  doh.gif  Nvm, since havent watch this movie. Or, I can always sell it off.

on the other hand, in AVS forum, few people notice some issue whereby New Line release like Pan's which is 7.1 DTS-HD MA will only play 5.1. all others BD played flawlessly in 7.1 (where available). They said this is specifically on New Line release.

done with the updating... i must say EXCELLENT! smile.gif

Die Hard 4.0 is the winner here. not only the deep LFE, but the surrounds got better too. My opinion is the surround adds realistic to the scene. especially the scene where inside the tunnel. all the crash scene sounded so real! u could feel ur heart shakes!

Cast away also shines with its 5.1 DTS HD MA. the scene where the plane crashes into the sea was excellent. the water splashing sounded so real makes u feel u were really at the beach.

Pans issue is same as reported. PS3 shows 7.1 but my amp only receive 6 channels (5.1) but it sounded awesome nevertheless.

Man of honor with its 5.1 DTS HD MA also excel. Awesome.

Stir of Echoes with its DTS HD HR i could notify the different between the core. Stir of echoes offers 7.1 DTS HD HR but the bitrate capped only at 3.0mbps. Sounded awesome as well.

Edward tangangunting sounded damn kicked ass as well. But the BD is only DTS HD MA 4.0, but on my avr it shows full 7.1 channel in. Wired eh? i could hear the back channel active. Sounded excellent.

Saw 4 also shines. this time DTS HD MA 7.1 fully being decoded and sent to my avr with no problem at all. all channels were active. it makes the movie sounded more horror than ever.

pardon my excitement but im really jumping now... ahahaha..

my Lionsgate's Saw IV played flawlessly. My avr shows all 7.1 channel. smile.gif
