Recently i'm interested to buy a 2nd hand phone. My primary concern is the budget, feature comes in 2nd. Instead of looking through every single thread, is it possible that you guys make a search function that can search the price range in the phone trading section database? I guess it'll be useful to other forumer as well.

Instead of asking us to create a complicated function that will go through all the threads to search for threads which sell phones within your budget, why don't you just spend a little bit of time creating a WTB thread to ask the sellers to offer you phones which fall within your budget?

The problem with WTB thread is that only a few ppl actually stumbled upon it, read and response to the post. I notice that WTB thread is not functioning as effectively as it is meant to be(my personal opinion only...) Perhaps making a special column to enter the price and let the computer to search for the suitable price range will be much faster and more effective. I think this is only a minor challenge to u guys considering your capability in making this magnificent forum. I really think u guys should at least consider this suggestion before saying no to it. However if u guys think that this is too much a hassle then just ignore this.

I'd rather a more general solution that benefits wider LYN community. And I haven't thought of any yet. But rest assured, price tags and location tags have been something that I want to implement in the future.

Every ideas and products started from the demand and needs. One of the idea generation methods is by fulfilling the needs of the creator himself. Of course whether the idea will works is another story.
The main point is any idea should be welcomed first, choose later.
