Hi everyone,

I am a new IPhone user with the 1.1.3 firmware. I am having a problem whereby the IPhone does not recognise the names in the contacts and the phone numbers. So when someone in my contact calls me, the number appears instead of the name. Any one know how to solve this issue or if there is a workaround this problem. Much appreciated if fellow members can help me out here. Thank you

Personally I dun like the Region Patch, the original regional choices are more than sufficient for me...

Hi friends, many thanks for your advice. After I installed the AppSupport for 1.1.3, it works like a charm. Btw, any of you have upgraded to v1.1.4 yet?

Upgraded to 1.1.4. Nothing much different.
So, upgrade also can, dun upgrade also can. Ka ka ka..
After upgrading u'll need AppSupport 1.1.4 to solve that problem too.

This problem happen becoz malaysia is not in the supported country for iphone. The AppSupport patch solve that problem by adding countries such as malaysia.

I have an iPhone using firmware version 1.1.1, the modem firmware is 04.01.13_G and the boot loader is 3.9, I am thinking of upgrading to 1.1.3 or even the latest 1.1.4. Last time I updated the phone to 1.1.3 (it was the first jailbreak released for 1.1.3) the phone was ok however the EDGE is not working. (btw I am using DIGI). So I heard about ziphone 2.5c, am wondering with current version, modem firmware and boot loader can i upgrade my phone to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4? I read some of the thread mentioning if bootloader 3.9 i need to jailbreak + activate and then install anysim 1.3? so which advise should i follow?

for 1.1.4, it is advisable to do a firmware restore, not only using update. the latest ziphone will patch the baseband for u, so u don't have to install AnySIM. the manual patch of AnySIM on 1.1.4 is only for the patched version of older ZiPhone of which is not released by Zibri himself. so using the real ZiPhone 2.5c u'll just need to click one button.
or u can try using iPlus (like ZiPhone, but also installs BSD subsystem)
