Hello, I have the first Gen Xbox and I thik it might be a good idea just to keep it as a DVD player or something.

So here it is, I only have the standard composite cables that came with it. So I was thinking in what way can I maximise the picture quality out of the Xbox, is there a HD pack somewhere I can buy for it? I'm using an LCD TV BTW.

Well yeah it was good, but I'm trying to maximise it.
Say, how much for a component cable for Xbox??

I'll try and find it here, I think i still see the old Xbox on sale here, I'll see if they have the cable for it. Also, that HD AV pack, how much did they cost in Singapore dollars?

EDIT: Scratch that(not the above question), can it even play HD DVD movie? laugh.gif

Seems like so much work.
Modding my ori Xbox, installing XMBC, getting the HD AV pack. sweat.gif
But would be a lot cheaper than buying a RM400+ DVD player which does the same thing.

Yups, will consider an HD-DVD player.
Just that the Xbox has some kinda sentimental value to it. I love it. tongue.gif

I won't be at my home for very long, studying and all that, and it would be good to leave it to my parents to watch DVDs. And my cousins love the games and if they come over, I got something to entertain them with. biggrin.gif

I won't leave a 360 in the house without me around. laugh.gif
