as in once connect then it will restart the phone?
if so i seriously recommend u hard reset... if problem persist.. go back to the shop and ask for warranty(make sure it is hard reset 1st, if not they say u simply install things and so on)... |

QUOTE(phas3r @ Jun 3 2008, 04:11 AM) u guys got corrupt mass memory or not... just now connect to pc using data transfer suddenly memory full, all folder filled with weird files.. all data gone....a virus or what? why suddenly corrupt? barely 1 week old yes.. it is infected with virus... connect it to your pc via data transfer and then scan with ur antivirus in pc. my 6120 had the same case, and avg clear them out. but in ur case, i recommend full format and becareful with files received and bluetooth. but if you didnt receive anything from stranger via bluetooth, and the problem persist after full format, i guess you hav to bring back to the shop. after all, its barely 1 week.. better get a replacement... |

congrats to you. finally u manage to install and use GMXT. i would just recommend using GMXT instead of iGo, route88, tomtom, or any others because they dont have updated malaysia maps. but you can try use googlemaps. i tried mine, not bad, but will be using gprs more intensively because not only its for agps, it is used to download the map as well.
if u got the keygen to unlock gmxt, it is also use the same way for the maps. just google around. plenty of guides... have patience and u will get it through. Added on June 4, 2008, 9:38 amunless u use v2.27 gold version which has self extract and map making, if not, the normal v2.27 need some other software to patch it all.. which is a hassle if u ask me. why dont u go malsingmaps and try contribute some point of interest... that will enable you to get the unlock code. QUOTE(LsChong @ Jun 4 2008, 10:12 AM) Thanks for ur suggestion. Let say , if i want to travel to other asia countries like japan, china (especially cos will be travelling this year december) i thought of using route 66 cos they have a china maps. For gmxt, i read lot forum saying that i need to have the taiwan version and have to to a upgradefrom .60 to .80 for me to use the china gps maps. Very complicate to me and have to change some setting that i dun understand. Do you have any idea which software to use. i am not too sure about china maps then. i havent travel that far yet... QUOTE(Nazrin @ Jun 4 2008, 02:03 PM) the Seaedge . thnnx. refer back to my post few pages back... i have written a small guide.. take time and explore ur phone~ hey guys. i want to download the garmin thing. can u guys tell me where can i download. thnx |

just FYI to all GPS users, when u guys use gps, it is best to slide it open. and please, the navigation is already at the best for normal use. i have used garmin, although abit slow but it brings to my destination. If u want fast GPS, go get Garmin Nuvi710 and stop whinning.

^no.. you can only see the logo change to 3.5g when you surfing the web and the place is covered with 3.5g. for more info on 3.5g coverage, its best you go to ur telco and look at their coverage chart.

QUOTE(elegantattempt @ Jun 23 2008, 11:30 PM) Hi all, n95 8gb could just do the job well... yes, but usually accessing the storage memory is slower, not the overall performance.I plan to buy N95 but can't decide 8GB or the normal one. Any guide for me? I particularly need it for taking picture and video (instead of carrying a camera and a camcorder, as well just buy 1 device that has 3 function in one). my friend told me 8GB get slower with storage increment. Is it true? Thanks guys! |
