err.. dude.. y do u always quoting for no reasons??

some of which i remember..

1. one of the biggest difference is the mass storage size.. real n95 8gb has 8gb space, fake one doesn't even reach 1gb

2. if u already familiar with S60 interface, u'll notice that fake n95 8gb is using S40 instead of S60..

3. camera button doesn't work in fake unit, including the zoom buttons

4. keypad backlight in fake unit is blue instead of white

u can check youtube, lots of vids comparing real n fake ones..

on average, my battery lasts for 3 days.. this includes a few hours of music, 10 mins call and few minutes of gaming everyday..
yes, battery consumption increases when u transfer files via cable..


the cheapest original set right now is around rm2200+.. one of my recommended place is kelana jaya giant mall (inside the supermarket)..

for N95 8gb, only N95-2 is available in malaysia..

u'll just lose ur data from the phone memory (contacts/messages/logs).. just do a backup before updating, and restore after the update.. everything will be back to normal again..

how about opera?

well, nokia is still far behind comparing with SE's slide phones.. n95 8gb slide mechanism is not as solid as xpressmusic series or SE phones.. it's normal if u're phone feels a little bit loose coz mine is the same, but it's normal n doesn't really bother me.. unless if ur phone can accidentally slide when u put inside ur pocket..

my friend's brother bought the china version n95 8gb for rm400+.. apart from the S40 symbian and 1gb mass memory, he mentioned that all other available function works fine.. doesn't have wifi and gps though..

1) Never had this problem before even when i'm running 4-5 apps at the same time.

2) Slow, but acceptable

3) All symbian or windows mobile phones are prone to virus attacks. Just stay away from potentially dangerous sites and u'll be ok.

4) The slider is a little bit loose, maybe around 0.3mm to 0.5mm. There are several vids in youtube on how to fix the slider.

latest would be V30.0.018..
u can simply use Nokia Software Updater.. plug in your phone via USB and NSU will automatically download and update your phone.. make sure to backup your phone memory before updating the firmware..

had this problem before.. try using phone memory instead of mass memory.. have u upgraded to the latest firmware? my video recording doesn't lag anymore after the update..

have u guys heard of Google Android? i wonder if N95 8GB could support it in the future..

won't be upgrading at the moment.. no major upgrades in the new firmware, and old hack methods will not work.. there's a new hack for this firmware posted yesterday in ipmart, but i'll just wait for a few weeks though..
