Azureus is a Java based BitTorrent client that offers multiple torrent downloads, queuing/priority systems (on torrents and files), start/stop seeding options and instant access to numerous pieces of information about your torrents. It also features an embedded tracker that is easily set up and ready to use.

Azureus connects to the BitTorrent network. BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer protocol designed to transfer files. Users connect directly to send and receive portions of a file, while a central tracker coordinates the action of all peers and manages connections without knowledge of the contents of the files being distributed. With BitTorrent, users upload at the same time they download, so network bandwidth is managed as efficiently as possible. BitTorrent is designed to work better than other file-transfer protocols as the number of people interested in a certain file increases. Azureus support for 27 languages.

was using Azureus Vuze. it "damn slow". I was getting 20-30kbps after hours of downloading.

With BitTorrent / BitComet, I get over 80kbps...

Giving Vuze 3.1.0.0 (apparently now it's "formerly known as Azureus") a test run right about now.

Not bad at all ALTHOUGH I must stress that I don't think that it's the proper, consistent indicating performance just yet. Have to temp retire from Deluge for about a month to really arrive to better conclusions.

Still.. The old blue frog just added more heft and clunk with this Vuze UI thing when they're supposed to go the lighter route? You can easily switch back to the classic UI but I must say it's a tad annoying to have to wait for the Vuze UI to load 1st before being able to switch back through options.

azureus.sourceforge.net

Running this atm w/ Proxomitron after having read about it in µTorrent's threads here and in bb user 2 user section. It can work with Vuze (Azureus) too though I can't really tell the diff from running w/o it because I also have cfosspeed running on my machine.

@ichigo_6091
In the client (assuming you're using the classic 2.x UI instead of the default Vuze UI. Not that there's any diff but less annoying), tools>options>look to the left pane>at the bottom there's "queue">seeding>first priority.
