It's all the tanks fault! Hee hee...just kidding.
When it comes to raiding, don't think that you gear up only through raids. Because if you're getting into a progressive raiding guild, they will not take you. Why?

Candlejack/Jas : I've a Level 30 warrior.
The openings for recruiting a DPS warrior is competitive. But once you're known on the pug circuit that you're good at dishing out the neccesary DPS, it's easier to get into a raiding guild. Unfortunately, the warrior class is very gear based so you have to do a lot of gearing up. But DPS warriors bring added raid buffs to the melee group. Unfortunately, in 25-mans, there's probably only one group for melee only i.e. 4-5 ppl max. DPS warriors in the tanking group also helps the Prot Warrior to manage his rage better by taking over some of the debuff/buff duties. If your guild bans pugging, it sounds like there is an issue with lack of players online to even form guild runs. The best way to attract good players is to do pugs, see how they perform and if they're good, throw them an invite into the guild. Seems like a waste opportunity to not pug heroics now and again. You never know when you'll see a better player out there with different ways of doing things or different strategies. Plus to brush up on your skills. froz3nnoob : Don't get too discouraged. It's good to try out different classes. You can understand their roles better in party / raid mode. Opportunities are not easy to come back but that doesn't mean that one should get dissapointed when you hit the first few stumbling blocks. Quaz : some of the pvp stuff could be easier to reach due to the RNG in instances. Also some of the weapons are best in-game outside of Hyjal/BT. Some pieces are good for PVE, like the Medallion of Alliance for Winterchill. Added on March 10, 2008, 7:53 pm QUOTE(Aggroboy @ Mar 10 2008, 09:09 AM) Roll a druid lo, damn senang job. From that Wiki page : It is strongly recommended that all players (with the possible exception of the mages who can blink out of the Ice Tomb) equip the Level 70 PvP trinket in order to survive.
Calm down. You're becoming like a ruffled chicken. And until the day arrives when Blizz will completely segregate PVP and PVE, I'm planning to make full use of PVP gear as well. |

QUOTE(siew14 @ Mar 11 2008, 10:36 PM) I have few questions here... 1) Slightly more avoidance in total but you lose from the racials.1) I m planning to create Night Elf with Warrior.. What do you guys think??? 2) In WOW, what makes your character different from others?? EG: In RO, we have agi knight, vit knight, etc-etc But what i foound out in WOW is... We can buy skills ( means we can learn all the skills ) and our stat point is fixed.. 3) what is raid?? XD 2) Stat points are fix yes but you get a Talent Tree where you can play around with to get 2 types of DPS warrior and 1 Prot warrior builds. Builds are your distribution of talents points. 3) Raid = http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/raidgroups.html. Baca lah! Added on March 11, 2008, 11:57 pmActually, back to 1) The different races have different racials. I think it's somewhere on WoWWiki about Starting a Character and there's a link to the different racials out there. Also, size does matter e.g. gnomes are hard to target with a mouseclick in PVP matches since they are so small. This post has been edited by myremi: Mar 11 2008, 11:57 PM |

QUOTE(siew14 @ Mar 12 2008, 12:11 PM) 1)What you mean of lose from the racials? Is the night elf suitable to become a hunter?? 1) http://www.wowwiki.com/Racial_trait . Different racials give different results. We just go for looks. 3) Raid is more like "MVP" Party in RO right?? 3) Never played RO , believe or not. Someone else have to answer that question. |
