End game raid dps is all about melee dps. Our group consisting of 2 rogues, enhancement shaman, 17/44 fury warrior (me) and 33/18 MS warrior (sometimes feral dr00d if he's not in tank group). We're very dependant on group setup but even though i'm not in full top end dps gear, i'm already pushing 1400-1500dps on some boss fights. We recently lost a uber geared rogue who used to consistently top dps charts whom i really had a hard time beating but atm we tend to take turns topping dps meters in BT/MH. MM and Survival hunters aren't competitive in DPS but BM hunters seem to do amazing damage in our raids. Warlocks ofc are great but the rest of the dps classes just pale in comparison.

So yeah, you can raid as dps.. you just have to work a lot harder to prove yourself

edit: threat is not an issue in raids where you have warriors (not me.. yet) pushing 2500dps on gorefiend. BoS and Imp zerker stance means i'm rarely at the threat ceiling.

Actually, the pvp trinket does make or break the archimonde encounter since we can't really have a tremor totem in every group for fears+doomfires.

no... what you want is to swap 5 totem twisting enhancement shamans for perma bloodlust/heroism in teh melee group=supermegawinsauce

Actually.. correction on pvp trinket being essential for teh fight.. seems prevalent strategy here is to use the stump -.-
