I got my hardcover Children of Hurin at MPH's warehouse sale for under RM25.00 IIRC. Great book at a great price.
Be sure to keep an eye on MPH's sales. Look hard enough and you'll find some great gems. |

The last one was I think about 3 weeks ago. Keep a look out in the papers. It's usually features a cartoon of an auntie with a trolley...
Next time I see it, I'll post it here. |

QUOTE(ShinAsakura @ Sep 15 2008, 03:48 PM) god it has been more than half a year since i last read a novel... barely have enough time. mostly read during semester break Children of Hurin hardcover now available from MPH 1-U for RM19.00! been addicted to harry potter and LOTR since my aunt gave 1 to me during my primary years bday now dunno which novel to start back... planning to buy The Children of Hurin. QUOTE(hirari @ Oct 3 2008, 02:26 AM) When i cant get enuff of the movies, i read the novels. I read the dark lord, pretty interesting. I also read Darth Bane : Path of Destruction. I have Death Star which I haven't read yet.I totally dig James Luceno's prequel and sequel novels to SW EpIII: RoTS, Labyrinth of Evil and Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader. I also have read Timothy Zahn's latest, Allegiance. While entertaining, the SW novels feels pretty corny at times with the same cheesy dialogue taken from the movies... |
