can anyone teach me how to use the maybank cash deposit machine? we can find it at every maybank's branches right? what is the first step to pay the cash via the maybank cash deposit machine? i really know nothing about those credit and bank stuff.. what should i do for the first thing? example if i want to send the cash to Tang Peng Peng and his account number is 111222-333444. then how should i function that machine? plsss ty

Very easy dude, u go to the atm cash deposit machine, select ur language, then key in ur Tang Peng Peng account number.

then the machine will ask u whether transfer money, cash deposit, or pay bills (if i'm not mistaken). then u follow the instructions and menu there u wanted to do ur transactions.

After u key in the account number, remember to check the account holder name (tang peng peng) is correct.

Then place ur money, and see whether the cash deposit machine receive correct amount of ur money or not.

Then press ok and the transactions is done. Very fast, dun worry, it's easy and fast. wat u use time more at the cash deposit machine is queue.

Alternatively, if u wan to use ur bank account of money to do the transfer, insert ur bank card, key in ur PIN number, then press the fund transfer. Then key in account number for Tang Peng Peng. put ur money, and then confirm it.

go cash deposit machine, press any button, then press the account number, check the details c isit correct, they will open the slot for you to put money insdie. put your cash in. then they will count and tell you the total amount. if its correct. press ok.

most of the time follow the instruction will be alright

Must have notes in denominations RM 10 and above. Just bang any number key or any button so the machine will start. The key in the acc. no of payee and then follow the instruction on screen. Get the reciept after the transaction.

Very simple, U just go to the CDM, read the instructions, keying the a/c no, put the money in, wait for the counting process, confirm the amount and lastly take your deposit slip.

ask the guard help u

1) Ensure amount is in increment of RM10. Anything smaller, and the CDM won't apply. Go tell the information helpdesk, fill up cash deposit slip and proceed to manual teller to deposit cash.

2) Find the kiosk labeled CDM, then take a look to ensure it is a CDM machine. Maybank has a tendency to put ATM in a kiosk labeled CDM. I have seen many ppl queue up (long queue) for 10-20 minutes and when it reach their turn, they had a shock of their lives it is an ATM. Then they proceed to the actual CDM queue.

3) Prepare some spare cash, in case CDM reject some notes.

I think it's pretty straight forward. Just follow the on screen instructions.

so the 1st thing i need to do is to tell the information helpdesk and fill up cash deposit slip 1st before i go to the CDM right? or i just go to the CDM straight away? hmm.. if i need to send the cash to Tang Peng Peng, then which 1 shud i choose? (transfer money, cash deposit, or pay bills?) how if i need to pay RM107.99? then i cant use RM1 right? so i pay RM110 right? since the smallest money that CDM can accept is only RM10...

IMO you better don;t revealing people bank account's details to the public even you want to ask for assistance.

u dont need to go to any personnel to do it...
1) Walk to CDM
2) Press any key to enter screen
3) Choose the language
4/5) It will ask Cash Deposit or Bill Payment, choose C.D.
4/5) Key in the account number of Tang Peng Peng
6) Name will appear, confirm its Tang Peng Peng
7) Put in ur money in the tray there, minimum note acceptable for maybank is RM10
8) Stupid CDM counts the money and show the amount
9) Verify correct or not, then press ok
10) Take receipt and walk away from CDM
11) Faster sms or tell Peng Peng
12) Drive or walk back home
13) Wait Peng Peng send the prize to u!

lol.. i just take tang peng peng as an example and that acc no. is oso fake wan. haha.. dun worry i wont reveal other person's detail.

Or you can even ask the guard if no banking personnel is around.
Maybe the guard wouldn't laugh at you though..........

Well, learning how to use a cash deposit machine by looking at the instructions is way easier than reading guides in LYN...lolz

ahhahaa u know i googled this and found this out.. im oni student, no paypal or bank acc nia, so i have to do by this way. XD

and when u put cash into the machine, sometimes it rejects your notes. retrieve the rejected notes n crumpled them up a little bit before putting them back in coz occasionally it rejects notes that are... too new. <3
