Most hotels' standard room are meant for 2 pax only, unless you asked for triple sharing, quad-sharing, family room , interconnecting rooms or suite.  And of course, unless you book one big room for up to 4 pax, then sneak in another 2 pax..

U can try sri sayang service apartment. Can accomodate 1 family and summore in batu ferringhi can buy dvd easy easy and jalan jalan at night. But if no car going to town will susah la.. got beach summore opposite
