is it best to stay at georgetown or gurney? main point is only eating and pastry.

if u wanna eat more ~ Georgetown area is the best/ mostly walking distance

then ot will be between cititel or bayview. how about tanjung bunga? kinda interested with four points by sheraton

tg bungah kinda far away from "FOOD"
but is a beach hotel..
the beach is just infront of the hotel

how far it is to city area?
i will be driving but if the parking is worst that kl/pj then i might reconsider to stay in georgetown

also, anyone stay in Yeen Keng hotel before? i know the room is small but does it worth RM400 pn?

right in the middle of heritage site
walking distance to 7-11
many small bar and pub, plenty of ang moh..
many food stall hawker food also
cheap and budget should survey this one..

if you arrive at island side, there is a hotel just opposite the bus terminal. b hotel iirc... duno any info though

so far my fren told me Farin is better budget hotel and apple is very small but just across QB..

Need some itinerary suggestions. My friend from SG visiting, we planning to go KL and Penang for 5 days. The first day would be a Saturday. How long should we stay in penang, 2d1n or 3d2n? which day of the week best day to go Penang? Hotel suggestions are very welcome. And can you guys suggests some places to see/go? Interests: food and chilling, maybe drop by the beach also. Not a frequent traveller, so I could use the help.

Hi guys , I hope I can get a helping hand from you all . I am planning a class trip for about 6 days . So , I have some questions here :

1) How many days should we stay at penang ? ( I am planning stay there about 4 days , no ideas for the rest 2 days )

2) What places should we visit at penang ? ( fun places plz , I heard that thats a escape theme park or something
else.)

3) After penang , we will be on the way to KL , but hope can visit some nice beach or anywhere . ( I am planning visit lumut but seems like there is less fun at there.)

Last time class trip if go Penang, on the way back will go Cameron for short trip.

Nice beach and Lumut shouldn't be in the same sentence.
