How are you guys traveling around? By local bus or have own car?
You like outdoor activities like hiking & nature or indoor stuff?

bukit bendera IS open for public but the New Train up the hill is on testing mode. Dun think you can use it.

halal food check my Penang Food siggy for those in green.
Do the heritage trail 1st after that go to Batu Ferringhi & the Penang National Park ( Jalan Hassan Abas,Teluk Bahang, 11050 Pulau Pinang. Tel: 04-8813530/8812016). Bring beach gear & plenty of drinking water.
Do drop by the Floating Mosque on the way to Batu ferringhi near Mar Vista.

The above are part of the heritage trail. Most are within walking distance of 10 minutes. Best you contact the heritage people and make arrangement for guided tour.
