Sweet. Incidentally, since my live went silver the other day, I've actually been putting some time into Saints Row, so SR2 would be a nice progression from there...

can it beat gtaiv ??? lol

Does it matter? I'm quite sure I'd probably end up playing both...

The only free-roaming game i ever finish is Crackdown because it's very short Wanted to play Saint Row 1 but just can't seem to finish it, don't know why. I hope it's not the same for GTAIV & Saint Row 2. (buying it for the hype!)

Also because jumping from rooftop to rooftop was awesome... but yeah, it was short.

Oh yeah.... can't wait for APB. Hopefully they do make it for the 360.

i think from the pics saints row 2 looks better than GTA4

but the thing that matters most is the gameplay

The game play should be good, I like SR1 so the SR2 as well. Hopefully they can improve the MP site, SR1 MP I think is boring.

I thought I might bump this thread since release date is just around the corner..really excited for this game, I enjoy SR1 and I will enjoy SR2 for sure..although I don't think this game will beat GTA IV in term of sales or graphics.. BTW anyone have seen their trailer mocking activities in GTA IV? I LOL'ed when I see that..

The game will be officially in the local retail stores by the 14th Oct 2008.

The game is great, i played the demo in GCA08.

i was told there is a collector edition available.

It comes with Embossed Tin, SR2 Money clip, Double sided poster/map, Exclusive art Book & Bullet shape USB. ( i was told there are some exclusive data in the USB)

And in MALAYSIA it comes with A FREE T SHIRT for both the normal game or the collectors set !!!!

I think if you guys out there need more info do let me know.
