hi all! i'm from klang and have been reading this thread for a bit. i'm really interested to take up fishing as a hobby. however, i'm a total noob. meaning, i have no rods, no knowledge, no nothing whatsoever on fishing.
so i was hoping if you guys could like teach me what to buy and where to go fish for the first time. it would be even better if any of you guys come along with me and give me some tunjuk ajar. thanks much!

QUOTE(rorytate @ Apr 7 2008, 09:27 AM) Hi Matt, Welcome to this small little hobby of fishing.. DO post any queries and i'm sure there are plenty of anglers here willing to help Since you want to start a fishing hobby, perhaps you want to share with us your fishing preference? Salt or freshwater? Paypond or natural places? Baits or lures? Added on April 7, 2008, 9:28 amWelcome back Jack! Quick quick digg out your arsenals... We go fishing together Hello there! I think i prefer paypond for beginning lah. Cause i think it's easier to find also right? As for salt water and fresh water, what's the diff ah? I think.. both is also okay ah.. and as for baits or lures, both also no prob. I just wanna learn learn and try try so next time can fish when I'm free

QUOTE(rorytate @ Apr 7 2008, 08:40 PM) hi Matt, Since you're from Klang, do page bro AlexNg. He stays at Klang... BTW, Bro Ho also stays in Klang and very good 'fruit orchard' entrepreneur besides an angler Bro Fookie, Try search in YouTube and see how they present and manipulate the lures. I will teach you when I see you cos some of the technique needs demo and hands on practise. Bro KLMT and bro Vw also very good in lures.. OK thanks! btw, can anyone suggest any places in klang, pj, or subang that i can buy affordable rods and reels and etc?
