tarak ler bro Q, it's a nasi kandar restaurant at yap kwan seng
Bro fookie, you can try to use a floater, small sized hook with thin leader...i have caught many with such technique. As the floater sinked in, count to 3 and strike.. |

bro Q,
no problem on BKT..kekeke Welcome in TMY, plenty of us here using lures, esp me as I don't do much bait. Mostly luring, jigging and popping. You can browse thru all our 7 fishing threads and you'll see loads of pictures of species caught using lures and also baits.. |

Hentam by fishies or scrub the bottom of sea bed? Added on March 17, 2008, 9:33 am QUOTE(unker @ Mar 16 2008, 09:58 PM) Some long-nose fishy. Anybody got the name of it? The meat was fillet and fried with ginger and spring onions. The head was curried. All cook last night in KK. Morning Unker ![]() That's emperor.. very nice eating fish and cuntgrats for the great result~! ![]() Red throat emperor Standard Fish Name: Redthroat Emperor Scientific Name: Lethrinus miniatus Authority: Forster, 1801 Family: Lethrinidae Other names Trumpet Emperor. Lipper. Red-throat Emperor. Identification: Brown or sand coloured body with red tint. Red dorsal and anal fins with spines on the first half. Sloped head with large eyes and red markings. Temperature range: 20 - 30 Celsius (66 - 86 Fahrenheit). Typical location: On rubble or sandy areas near coral reefs. Fishing methods: Bottom fishing with crab or mollusc. Fighting characteristics: A fast strike followed by a series quick runs for shelter around submerged obstacles. Added on March 17, 2008, 9:38 amBTW bro fookie, Sotong season will be hitting Pangkor area. Perhaps you can arrange a trip there? At least 3 or 4 pax from KL(meaning the boat can take 5 anglers + 1 boatman) or if the response is good from our forum then you need to find a secondary boat.. My suggestion: Morning: Sotong around Pangkor area Afternoon: Jigging at P9 area If possible arrange somewhere between 3rd week of April to 2nd week of May. DO revert to us these few days if possible, otherwise, i'll call my contact in Sitiawan Added on March 17, 2008, 9:39 amMorning Bro Ice, Is this weekend's bashing at StarCruise a GO? Who is cumming and what are the itenary there? BBQ? Beer session? Do give us a list of who is cumming This post has been edited by rorytate: Mar 17 2008, 09:39 AM |
