About the Air Fortress yah it is really fragile but if u play the ACE Combat series such Air Fortress main objective is to bring along a giant super weapon on it that can vaporise enemy whole base or whole army from a great high and distance! It is usually cover by lots of fighter jet! They bring it into enemy territory to do some kick ass stuff! maybe this is the starting of WhiteBase!

lol...heck from the corporate world we lived in today, deploying giant mecha suit in battle(be it gundam size ms or front mission size) are much of a far fetched ideology,
cuz it takes more capital to develop on a new branch of a technology than taking an existing one and improve on it (make it faster, stealthier, take more pounding,etc....)
cuz...well all the weapon we're using today is made by the lowest bidder...
closest you can see on mecha on battlefield is human sized ai-controlled weapon of sort...

Well for me I don't think bipedal MSes will be useful in the near future. Legs are too exposed, while the centre of gravity is too high. Not practical. Future large scale warfare (hopefully there will be none) will be fought in sissy ways where armies shoot each other with cruising missiles while sitting 10000km away in the command centre. Then there's the aerial bombing to clear everything on the ground before ground troops move in. MSes are way too large and costly...

As for Gundam live action.. i believe We need someone who truly devote himself into making the movie( research, planing and casting) instead of a 3rd rate director who just want a quick buck.

A sidewinder will never take out a gundam,it had very small explosive enough to puncture a hole in a aircraft, unless the pilot uses a 500kg bomb or maybe air to ground missile or anti-armour missile..

If gundam is make into a hollywood movie, the main character most likely to be a gailow... (but then, setsuna is not japanese but a kurdish...)

I still think Gundam should not be made into real life movies, be it by angmohs or even the Japanese themselves. Giant mechas will look really cartoony and awkward in real life, so please don't spoilt it. It's like real life dragon ball or street fighters....

About conventional weapons taking down gundams... well, Shiro took out a Zaku with aiming a bazooka round at the hip joint... so yeah.

G savior I wouldnt mind the average CG and props.. but its their plot is their major downfall.. The storyline has no relation with any existing UC storyline..

No minosky, No newtype, No AMBAC, No even a mention of Gundam.. Hell their GM are carrying Machine guns WTF..

Nahh Neena will fall in luv with Saji and then saji found tat she was the gal tat shot her GF whole family and go berserk! But he feel a bit of luv in himself towards Neena so he forgive her but tell her to leave him!
