hard to compare with still shots. as theres no hardware acceleration etc. in terms of which release comparison:
menclave. both video and audio are superior compared to gSS, ESPECIALLY audio, WAY BETTER surround sound envelopment. (yes i use 5.1 surround, as shown on my sig)
that said, imo, gSS translations are better

translations could also sum up to how the english grammer/sentences were done. some translation can be accurate, but due to how japanese and english language differences, you just cant directly translate over and expect it to "mean" the same, or be sensible. gSS does better editing on the english portion, thus i consider gSS to have better translation over menclave.

video/audio, while video can be pretty subjective, but menclave encodes have clearer images, less grains and noise. could be cuz of the brightness? who knows. audio part is a lil more obvious, but since not everyone have 5.1, i guess its not as important either.

for the subs blocking the scenes, imo, so long your typeset is done well (which both menclave/gss does good), its not a problem to me. the ED from menclave MAYBE, as their kanji is done really huge lol...

well you ARE on a 5year old pc after all. and if ur having such problems with gss, you cant go menclave. they have flashier typesetting and stuff with special effects, so ur pc will literally die

shinsen, lets just say, edwardk is godlike in encoding (im sure you heard of the name ) and... they've been around for a LONG LONG time. so when it comes to squeezing out every drop of quality, with the lowest possible file size, and playable on pcs that arent recent as well as possible, they certainly have the experience

kinda interesting to see how they didnt made this "drama episode" boring. and oh oh! trans-am spamming LOL!

kyrios + hallelujah personality = massive win. more so than exia (despite how i love exia the most)

well, even without crab arm, im sure (assuming hallelujah comes back) they can still do some crazy shit with arios... notice the wrist pulse lasers? imagine punching an enemy mech up close, and firing that. instant ownage ensures LOL

kyrios was using gn submachine gun, perhaps they should use back the sub machine gun or improve it. as the rifle's rate of fire didnt seem impactful enough as allelujah was never the "sharpshooter"

more on using speed (sub machine gun's superior fire rate) and chaos (hallelujah) to subjucate its enemies

still wondering whats with the producer's answers when they confirmed graham's death

but eh, i suppose its reaction + zero system like movement predictions? allelujah portion is calculating/predicting movements, while hallelujah executes the moves. kinda like the brain works while hallelujah is the arms/legs.

well, the Ptolemaios is very slow in season 1 and could barely dodge incoming beams (note: damn long range) from alvarote. and the alvatore itself... lets say that even the bulky gnarms exia can tear it up lulz.
