Confirmed... The second unit of RX-0 is the Banshee, and yes it does have the over-designed antlers as the V-fin... There's also a new one called Ankusha which looks like a beefed up Asshimar.... WOOT all the old mechas are getting new variants !! It also shows Marida dying? Not sure about that...

Yet I don't understand why it's called Unicorn Gundam Banshee... I'd prefer the white one to be called Unicorn Gundam and the black one Banshee Gundam. Having said that, some forums have suggested Kierin "麒麟" Gundam, which is even more fitting due to its antlers and being the Chinese equivalent of a unicorn.

yeah, and from the info available now, it seems that the golden bling of the psychoframe is a result of different newtype brain wavelengths, rather than specific for Banshee alone. Marida appears to be the pilot of Banshee, but how she managed to get her hands on one of them I'm not sure. If Barnage pilots the Banshee it'll look more badass... Black + Red... oh yeah.

Maybe if Amuro pilots the RX-0 it'll glow greenish yellow, like how his Nu's frame resonated in CCA.

The antlers looks like a rooster's crown when in Banshee mode... The Ankusha looks like a Rezel with Asshimar's armour on, not sure whether it can transform into a UFO or not since the Rezel's frame is more similar to the Methuss. I prefer the Asshimar's monoeye rather than the monitor face of the Rezel hehe...

Hey guys, I would like to know which quality image that most of you prefer when watching HD ver.

Here have some comparison of their image so far I have seen:

As you can see, a is darker and b is brighter for all the scenes.
However there doesn't have any for an ideal case which is a dark scene has a brighter image and bright scene has a darker image in one file.

i prefer 1a and 2a..but actually i think 2a and 2b not much difference

image#2 is on the bright scene, so I think it suppose to make a darker image(which is 2a), if it was the brighter one(2b) then it may looks a bit blur.
and image#1 is on the dark scene, if it was the darker image(1a) then some parts may be hard to view, but for the brighter one(1b) the space enact can be sees quite clear.

i think its depend personal aesthetics style, since I like those mecha always look clear... and you prefer darker one cool looking

hard to compare with still shots. as theres no hardware acceleration etc. in terms of which release comparison:
menclave. both video and audio are superior compared to gSS, ESPECIALLY audio, WAY BETTER surround sound envelopment. (yes i use 5.1 surround, as shown on my sig)
that said, imo, gSS translations are better

well, actually the brighter images are from menclave
while not refer to gSS, also have other both better video and audio like menclave... but just the matter of "brighter" or "darker" screens you choose.

Since I quite understand their japanese speaking(but not all ), what I think about the translations for menclave and gSS are the same, both of them sometime adding or changing few more word from the origin meaning.
And what I not satisfied to them is the lyrics translation for theme songs where they included too much forms inside such as romaji, kanji, and english and just hinder the scene pictures...

translations could also sum up to how the english grammer/sentences were done. some translation can be accurate, but due to how japanese and english language differences, you just cant directly translate over and expect it to "mean" the same, or be sensible. gSS does better editing on the english portion, thus i consider gSS to have better translation over menclave.

video/audio, while video can be pretty subjective, but menclave encodes have clearer images, less grains and noise. could be cuz of the brightness? who knows. audio part is a lil more obvious, but since not everyone have 5.1, i guess its not as important either.

for the subs blocking the scenes, imo, so long your typeset is done well (which both menclave/gss does good), its not a problem to me. the ED from menclave MAYBE, as their kanji is done really huge lol...
