hi. i have a question for any forumers who is studying/living in australia, does the iphone works with any of the telco provider there? the last time i went there (december 07) i tried with telstra, but the iphone kept crashing. i'm going again sometime this month & wondering if i should bring my other phone in case the iphone still doesn't work. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Yup, it worked on Telstra before on roaming. Mine's under Celcom, and still on 1.1.1, virginized.

Works on all providers except 3. I'm currently using an Optus sim card in my iPhone. I signed up with 3 when i first got here, but then acquired an Optus number specifically to use the iPhone.
